• All Athletes participating in the Canoe Slalom events must wear helmets and life jackets for safety reasons.
• The 250m watercourse is made of artificial materials such as electric pumps to create hydraulics to replicate actual white water channels.
• During the watercourse athletes have to pass through 18-25 gates in their canoe or kayak to finish.
