Olympic betting odds for the Women’s 100m favor Sha’Carri Richardson with -155 odds in her first Olympics.

Richardson will finally make her Olympics debut after missing out on the 2020 Tokyo Olympics due to testing positive for marijuana. She now heads to her first Olympic games in the best form of her life, setting an event record 10.65-second 100m at the World Championships in August.

Richardson Faces Tough Competition in Jackson and Alfred

Although Richardson’s the top women’s 100m runner in the world, a gold medal is no guarantee in Paris. She’ll have to get by Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson, who is an Olympic silver medalist with a personal-best 10.65-second 100m under her belt.

Although Jackson has the experience, a first-time Olympian with longer track & field betting odds could win the Women’s 100m gold medal in Paris. Julien Alfred (+650) of Saint Lucia beat Richardson by 0.08 seconds back in 2023 at the Gyulai Istvan Memorial, putting her blazing speed on display.

Noah Lyles of the United States has +125 odds to win the men’s 100m at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Kishane Thompson (+250) and Oblique Seville (+360), both from Jamaica, are the only other runners with Olympic betting odds shorter than +1400 to win the race.
