BEIJING, China – Snowboarding is one of the staple sports at the Winter Olympics each year and at Beijing 2022 it is no different. Snowboarding events have already been going on and now it is time for the women’s big air competition.

Standing Her Dominance

Zoi Sadowski-Synnott is one of the most well-known women’s snowboarders in the world as she is the number one ranked women’s snowboarder. She has won a total of seven gold medals in her snowboarding career with one of them coming in the big air events. In total though, she has won four medals in big air events.

She has been having an incredible start to 2022 so far with three gold medals to her name. Two of them came at the 2022 Winter X Games and her most recent was now at the Olympics.

She will have some competition though as sitting right behind her on the odds board is Anna Gasser of Austria who won the gold medal for the women’s big air competition back in the 2018 Winter Olympics while Sadowski-Synnott won the bronze medal. All in all, it is not every day that long snowboarding odds come on someone of Sadowski-Synnott’s caliber making this a great bet to make.

Chloe Kim has -300 odds to win the women’s halfpipe gold medal and won the 2018 gold medal.

BEIJING - The Winter Olympics are set to begin on February 4 and the women’s halfpipe event is one of the most highly anticipated events in 2022.

This comes as Chloe Kim is favored on betting sites with Olympic odds to win her second straight gold medal in the halfpipe event.

Chloe Kim is one of the top women’s snowboarders on the planet. Despite winning just her first gold medal in the event, backing up her Olympic snowboarding odds is her decorated history. She is the first athlete to ever win three X Games gold medals before turning 16 years old.

In total though, she has five X Games medals adding to her three golds which include a bronze and silver. She also took part in the FIZ World Cup in 2016 and 2017 where she finished third and in first. In 2016 at the Youth Olympics, she also walked away with the gold medal for the women’s halfpipe event in addition to the slopestyle event.

Many think that Kim has her second straight gold medal on lock, however, anything could happen which could lead to her competition swooping in. One name, in particular, to keep an eye on is Cai Xuetong from China.

Xuetong has plenty of gold medal experience as well in the halfpipe event having won three gold medals for it. Her medals came at the 2015 Winter Universiade, and the 2015 and 2017 World Championships. The leg up that Kim has though is that Xuetong has never won an Olympic medal for the halfpipe event.
