Olympic Beach Volleyball Odds Leave Field Wide Open

  • Margareta Kozuch and Laura Ludwig are the betting favorites to win the Goal Medals.
  • Kerri Walsh Jennings and Brooke Sweat are longshots with +2800 odds and listed as the third best USA team.

TOKYO – The Women’s Beach Volleyball odds suggest that there is no true favorite and the field is wide open.

Germany, Brazil and Canada have the three favorites, but the USA has the fourth and fifth options, as the Olympic betting odds have six teams listed between +550 and +750 odds before a bit of a fall off to +1200.

For a bit of a confusing reason that’s not found in many other Olympic sports, the odds don’t reflect the world rankings.

Tokyo 2021 - Womens Beach Volleyball

  • Margareta Kozuch & Laura Ludwig (GER) +550
  • Agatha Bednarczuk & Duda Santos Lisboa (BRA) +600
  • Sarah Pavan & Melissa Humana-Paredes (CAN) +650
  • Alix Klineman & April Ross (USA) +700
  • Kelly Claes & Sarah Sponcil (USA) +700
  • Taliqua Clancy & Mariafe Artacho Del Solar (AUS) +750

The current World Champions are Paven and Humana-Paredes from Canada and have the third shortest odds. The duo could be a good value pick for bettors. Further, the No. 1 ranked team, Klineman and Ross from the USA, have +700 odds and could provide the most value of any team.

Whenever there is a larger field and the favorite has odds around +500, it could benefit the bettor to use a couple of the favorites and stills secure a couple of units payout if any hit.

Considering the odds, betting on Olympic volleyball may be done the best when using the aforementioned method.
